I’ve been a big fan of the hand weaver Beth Moran since opening the lighthouse in June 2013. She is my go-to person for very special individually woven items from table runners, rugs, wall-hangings and unusual small gifts such as hand-woven fabric covered journals. My favourite piece is my “Clare Island Cloak” which has seen me through several weddings! Every year I treat myself to some special “Beth” piece.
